Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you work
outside Vermont?
A: Our Client Base is primarily in New
England and New
York. However, our clients have us working on projects through out
the United States.
We have found that Vermont is the perfect base of operations since it gives us the quality of life aspects we want, allows us access to all the transportation and high tech technology we need AND provides our clients a reason to come visit.
Q: How do you save your clients money
and time?
A: We manage projects for the best interest of our clients. By applying science and
engineering expertise to a project, we manage the scope of work to
address the specific issue presented, and not what the consultant
thinks would be a good idea. As lawyers project a clients legal
exposure, we protect clients from exposure to unwarranted, high
cost, scientific/engineering scopes of work that only effect a
consultants bottom line.
Q: Does this work only on hazardous
waste sites?
A: NO. Any time you are asked to spend more
than $5000 on consulting services you should call us. We have
been highly successful in managing projects that include:
- Permitting of high density urban redevelopment projects
- Power production/transmission projects including gas fired power plants, commercial scale wind energy projects
- US EPA Superfund Hazardous waste
investigations/remediation's, and state lead
hazardous waste projects. - Due Diligence Investigations for financial transactions (yes we provided a significant benefit on the production of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments)
- Insurance claims
- Litigation management involving multiple expert witnesses
Q: Do you do Phase I Environmental Site
Assessments?
A: No. We manage projects. We take a project, split it
up into its basic elements, develop cost effective, scientifically
based scopes of work to address salient questions and "bid" them out
to local pre-qualified consulting firms on a completive basis.
Based on our more than 10 years of business, this provides the most benefit
to the client.
As for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, we provide guidance and review services to financial institutions who require these due diligence Reports.

Q: Are there projects that are two
small?
A: We are frequently called by perspective clients that are
concerned with one aspect of a scope of work being proposed. Many
times we can suggest a course of action that they can implement on
their own. For these small issues, we can not be cost
effective. This does not mean we will not
be helpful.
Q: Can Project Management
really benefit me?
A: Its your money. Soon some of it will be the consultants
money. Project Management can reduce your costs and decrease the
time to closure. We have demonstrated cost savings of 65% or
more on many projects.
